The typical process is as follows:
- Contracts and Paperwork
We conclude contracts and arrange for the appropriate consumer credit licence to be in place, enabling you to hire bikes to your employees.
- Pricing and Payment Options
To cover the cost of the bikes ordered, most employers choose to use leasing as the lease can be offset against the payments collected from employees. We will arrange for this lease to be put in place, or you may choose to pay for the bikes upfront. Any cost of finance will be built into employee payments ensuring your scheme is completely cost neutral. We calculate pricing based on your choice of funding method.
- Marketing
The scheme will be marketed to your employees using the most appropiate methods for your organisation. Employees can visit www.halfords.com or any Halfords store to see the range of cycles on offer, ranging from £200 up to a value of £1,000.
- Order Administration
Club Cycles commence taking orders by phone and online, processing employees' hire agreements and providing information for your approval. Take a look at our demo to see how easy our ordering system is.
- Employee Vouchers Issued
On weekly basis Club Cycles issue Halfords with approved order information. In turn Halfords issue employees with their 'Letters of Collection' (LoC), which can be used within a set time limit in exchange for a bike and accessories.
- Completion
The Cycle2Work campaign normally runs for 2 weeks, allowing employees plenty of time to make their selection. After this period Club Cycles will conclude the scheme by finalising administration and payment arrangements.
